Harnhill Manor Farm is an example of an integrated livestock and cropping system and is managed organically. It carries a 120-sow outdoor pig herd managed as a joint venture with a business partner and producing progeny for the Duchy label brand, alongside a mule ewe breeding flock. Arable cropping is rotated with forage crops, grown to support the livestock and to facilitate an effective rotation to underpin the management of a mixed farming system.
